Regis Phelbin, dies at 88 the popular TV host of all time 2020

Legendary comedian, writer and aTelevision host Regis Phelbin has died at the age of 88 just one month before is 89 th birthday.

                     His talent and sense of humor made him one of the most popular television personality in decade. He had a very different way of interviewing people and hosting the show.

He made a guineas world record of hardest working man on television camera of about fifteen thousand and eighty eight hour. He also hosted talk show like Regis and Kathleen live and game show like Who wants to ba a millionaire. He was married twice and had 4 children. He has a sarcastic and genuine way of talking and interviewing with people.

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, he served in the U.S. Navy and after that he got his television start serving as a page for The Tonight Show in the 1950s. Philbin gained his first network TV exposure in 1967 as Joey Bishop's sidekick on The Joey Bishop Show which became popular back in Days. Philbin is most widely known for having been the co-host of the New York City-based nationally syndicated talk show Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee starting in 1988, which became Live! with Regis and Kelly starting in 2001, and continued with former football player Michael Strahan after Philbin's departure in 2011.He also hosted and debuted the game show called Who wants to be millionaire. 

“In the same category as Carson. Superlative. He was on our show a million times, always the best guest we ever had, charming, lovable and could take a punch. When he retired I lost interest in television. I love him.”

He was among the talented, nicest and genuine  personality in the American television history. During his life time he had became the most successful TV host. 

More over as his family reported his death had been due to natural causes but it might have seen heart problem..
